Wordless Wednesday - Kitten Sound Off 6/22/10

Wordless Wednesday
Kitten Squad
"Hup to, hup to.. Sound off!"

We still don't have names for them. We were going to name them after Hindu deities... but they just didn't ring well. There are 3 girls and 1 boy. We have one set of twins (1 girl + 1 boy). Their eyes look funny because they just opened :D

Any suggestions on names?

OMGosh!! How cute! I just had to get rid of my cat on Sunday! :-( We had to give him away bc he was extremely jealous of our new baby and started spraying all over her stuff. You should name one of your cat after him! His name was Bynx. I got it from "Hocus Pocus", that movie with Bette Midler.

Thanks for linking up today! I'm a new follower!

Just so cute! My youngest son & dil would snatch them up, even tho they have 2 now! LOL. both spayed tho. My grandsons are allergic so if I want to 'see' them I can't have any fur-babies any more :( it is so hard to say no to furry babies!
Thanks for stopping by & linking up!

If you have any Harry Potter fans, my dad called his twin pets Harry & Hermione, & there's lots of other characters to choose from for the others! Happy WW!

I love new kittens . . . we need a couple right now.

How about Norse Gods, like Thor, Bridgit, and so on?

They are so cute! How about Blue for the intense blue eyes, Whiskers for the one that seems to have the most, Mittens for the one that looks like he/she is wearing one, and Stripes.

Okay, too adorable. You can send one over here. Sorry, no name ideas... it is too late to think. Good luck.

Aww, such lovely kitties! I'm completely brain-drained at the moment, so I have no name suggestions. I'd probably be namimg mine after famous musicians, regardless of gender :)

too cute for words.

What cuties! I have no idea what to call them!

Our cats are Scamper (because when we met she kept scampering to us and then away) and then we have Smudge (who had a grey smudge on her head which has since gone away)>

Any distinguishing marks or behaviour?

Happy WW, and thanks for stopping by! :)

My human is not the one to ask; she comes up with terrible pet names. The only reason I was named something halfway decent (Sparkle) is because she knew she was going to put me on the internet. The other two here are Binga and Boodie - totally dorky names, if you ask me. Those are ridiculously cute kittens, though!

How sweet and adorable ! As you love cats you should have a look on my cat blog My Cats & funny stories
I have always named my cats after old aunts and uncles. Pookie and Kim belonged to my son that's why they don't have human names.

My son's cat is named "Jean Claude Meow" aka Chairman Meow.

They're adorable!! I was thinking George would be a good name for the boy, but I'm partial to that name. I've always liked it :)

Happy WW!

OMG!!! They are the sweetest thing! I so want one (but hubby is so not a kitty person) :(

I used to have a kitten named mittens when I was a kid so I've always loved that name for a cat :)

Adorable! I love the Hindu gods naming idea. I would go with Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, Kali, Ganesha (just Gani?), Soma, Rama, or Shri. I think those would all work. Go with the personalities of the kitties and match to the gods.

Very sweet babies..hope they find good homes and get spayed/neutered! Mom too!I like the Hindu route - Kali, Lakshmi, Tara and for the boy Ganesh or Krishna!

Gigi said...

I can't show those to my daughter, she'll start wanting a kitten! happy WW!

Oh, they are so cute. The video kitty is adorable, so NEW. We have two cats, Pandora and Cosette. Their names are perfect for them: Pandora never met a box she didn't just have to open, and Cosette is always a ragamuffin, like her namesake in Les Miserables. Actually, I really like using names from Broadway musicals for cats. They always seem to work so well.

Thank you for visiting my page. I love visitors!

We wait a little while before naming kittens. Get to know personality. Of course we did end up with a cat named "Five" for ten years...

They're all so sweet ... how about bakery type names ... Sugar, Cupcake, Muffin and Cookie

Chelsey - The Paper Mama said...

I agree with: jayayceeblog

BUT: How about... Poodle, Turtle, Frog, and Birdy.

Phyllis, Gladys, Verna and Frank (or Frankie?)

BTW, thanks for stopping by! My human and I love the Warriors series, and since I'm a girl kitty, my human often says I look a lot like Firestar's daughter Squirrelflight.
